Skin care product for horses

Sweet Oil is a soothing skin care product for horses that relieves irritation and helps horses avoid itching during mild months.

With soothing sweet almond oil, a blend of essential oils and technical ingredients. Sweet Oil provides all-day hydration to help horses resist the urge to rub and support natural hair regrowth.

Rub the oil thoroughly into the mane, tail base and other areas prone to dry, irritated skin.

Shake before each use. Test the product on a small patch of skin before use and do not use if a reaction occurs. Rub the product well into the base of the mane, the tail root, and other exposed areas of the skin. Repeat if necessary.

How often should I apply Sweet Oil?
We recommend reapplying the product when you no longer see any oil residue on the skin or hair. This is usually after 24 to 48 hours, but the product may continue to work longer.

Will Sweet Oil cause my horse to burn in the sun?
The main ingredient in Sweet Oil has an SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of 5, so it should reduce the chance of sunburn.

Can I use Sweet Oil on other animals?
We don’t recommend this. While we don’t know if other animal species are intolerant to the ingredients, since Sweet Oil is formulated for horses, the reactions of other animals to the ingredients haven’t been studied.

Are there any safety precautions for Sweet Oil?
Sweet Oil contains nut oils (almond), so it should not come into contact with people who have a nut allergy. For all products containing essential oils, we recommend performing a patch test before applying the product to larger areas of the skin.

Is Sweet Oil safe to apply with my bare hands?
Yes, as long as you are not specifically allergic to any of the ingredients.
