For more than 10 years, and still, Katrien has been caring for horses that didn’t have a good life and needed extra care. She does this on her farm in Belgium.
Her passion for horses and spending time with them naturally started much earlier, from childhood.
Caring for weak horses has yielded many lessons, knowledge, and experiences. Not only various disease patterns, but especially: what did and do they need to become vital and strong again.
After a sad farewell to a rescue horse in November 2021, Katrien sought comfort and a ray of hope. This led to the idea of applying all the acquired knowledge and experience to a new life: strong and healthy from the start, growing up in the circumstances Katrien now considers ‘right’.
Thus, the foal Flo Féa was born a few months later, and many months after that, she came to Katrien’s farm. She spent her first year there with 2 other mares, and that herd has naturally expanded again with other rescue horses.
Flo Féa is now three years old and is bursting with health.

FLO FÉA was born from that idea.
