Vitalbix Healthy Horse Treats are packed with healthy ingredients such as alfalfa, flaxseed, chicory pulp, beet pulp, rosehip, nettle and fenugreek and contain vitamins and minerals that occur naturally in these plants and herbs. No extra vitamins and minerals have been added to the Treats. Vitalbix Healthy Horse Treats can be safely fed to horses in need of a ration with a low starch and sugar content. Does your horse have metabolic problems and/or is he overweight? Make sure that you limit the number of Treats per day to a maximum of about 10 pieces.
Vitalbix Healthy Horse Treats contain only 3% starch and 4% sugar (sugars only from the natural ingredients, no added sugars such as molasses) and can therefore be fed indefinitely, even during clicker training. Is your horse (severely) overweight? Preferably do not feed more than 10 Treats per day (all extras, including Vitalbix Horse Treats, provide extra calories). Do you think the Healthy Horse Treats are a bit too big for clicker training or groundwork exercises? Then you can also use the Vitalbix Daily Complete kibble as a reward.
