Traditionally, black cumin has been the remedy of choice for the mucous membranes, especially of the bronchi, intestines and genital system. The seeds should be ground and fed fresh. Because the active ingredients are bound to the oil, press cakes or extracted grain (high temperatures) are not at all comparable to freshly ground seeds.
