Vitalbix Senior+ Muesli contains all the nutrients your senior horse needs to stay healthy and vital, making it a complete supplement to roughage. The amount you feed depends on your horse’s requirement for vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. The table below shows the number of grams per day (not kilograms!).

Need extra support? For recovery, underweight, poor condition, or high energy needs, we recommend: 200 grams per 100 kg body weight.
Daily Feeding Advice
Without or Light Work:
The dosage for horses not in work or in light work is 160 grams per 100 kg body weight. This is sufficient for horses enjoying retirement or engaged in recreational/light work.
Moderate to Heavy Work:
For older horses that are still regularly active, the dosage is 200 grams per 100 kg body weight. Is your horse thin or does it need extra support? Then this increased dosage can also be applied.
Extra Support:
For horses needing extra support, such as during recovery, underweight, or poor condition, the dosage is 200 grams per 100 kg body weight.
