Unlike many other treats, these bites can be given long term and even in higher doses without worry because they provide high-quality nutrition. They are suitable for horses, small livestock, dogs, cats, and other pets in need of a nutritious treat.
Hemp bites can be used randomly as a treat. The below is a guideline but not a fixed dosage.
Horse 500 kg: 9-10 bites (about 70 grams) per day.
Small livestock: 3-5 bites per day.
Dogs: 1-2 bites per 10 kg body weight per day.
Cats: 1 bite per day.
Note:
As a temporary cure, the dosage can safely be increased up to threefold after habituation. The recommended dosages are guidelines; every situation and animal is unique.
