Our sustainable “no waste” packaging is made of recyclable mono-material. The sustainable “No waste” plastic pet food bags, which are unique in the Benelux, can therefore be disposed of with collected plastic waste. Please note! Many pet food bags are made of either multiple types of plastic with or without a metalized layer, or appear to be entirely made of paper but contain plastic for the grease barrier. Both these options are not or very difficult to recycle.

Please note! When is something recyclable? In short: if it’s produced from mono-materials or if it’s collected separately. Our can and pet food packaging (plastic and cardboard) are recyclable and can go in the PMD waste (plastic, metal and beverage cartons). If this is not possible in your municipality then our tin and pet food (LDPE plastic) packaging can go with the residual waste and post-separation, of recyclable and non-recyclable material, takes place via state-of-the-art sorting machines in your municipality. Our new folding carton packaging (chocolates and tablets) with FSC certification can simply be handed in separately for recycling with the old paper and cardboard in each municipality.

Feeding guidelines:

- You can start feeding puppy kibble from 3 weeks. - For medium and large breeds, regular puppy kibble may become too small over time. - For medium-sized dogs, you can switch from puppy or high energy kibble to normal adult kibble, such as adult crunchy and lamb rice, around 10-12 months. - For large dogs, after puppy and then high energy food, you can switch to adult food like giant around 10-12 months. This is a guideline. You can deviate from this depending on age, exercise, condition, and performance of your dog.

-Feed with your eyes. You can use the amounts in the feeding guide as a guideline, depending on age, exercise, condition, and performance of your dog. The mentioned amounts should be given daily. Divide the amount into 3 to 5 meals. Always ensure fresh drinking water is available.

-A puppy's growth can be divided into two phases. The first phase is rapid growth. Your puppy needs lots of energy now. When they're about half-grown, the second phase begins. This is a phase of more moderate growth. The energy requirement gradually decreases until your dog is adult and has the energy requirements of an adult dog. The duration of these two phases varies by breed. Small breeds, like the Yorkshire terrier, are fully grown at 6 to 9 months. Very large breeds, like the Great Dane, aren't fully grown until 18 to 24 months. Especially for large breeds, it's important to grow slowly in the second phase to prevent bone and joint problems. If your puppy(ies) have diarrhea problems, due to their sensitive digestive system that's still developing, we recommend temporarily supplementing with BF®Petfood Meat Food or BF®Petfood 3in1 cookies. *Pregnancy period: increase food amount by 10% in the 7th week, by 20% in the 8th and 9th weeks. Nursing period: increase food amount by 50%, divided into 3 to 4 portions
