After successful test feedings in Aubenhausen during product development, the muesli is now added to the ration of horses; from young horses to top athletes, and convinces across the board.
Multiple Benefits Bundled in One Recipe
The grain-free composition and targeted combination of fibers, fats, and proteins provide palatable energy without adverse effects on digestion. The slow release of energy keeps blood sugar levels predominantly constant, so that the horse’s temperament is not negatively affected.
The foundation is formed by varied Pre Alpin®- and Myo Alpin®-fibers, which promote chewing activity and saliva production and support a healthy intestinal flora. Lignans from linseed and pectin from dried apples provide the horse’s stomach with valuable mucilages, while AGROBS® Bierhefe Pur brewer’s yeast strengthens the intestinal flora with prebiotic, inactive yeast extracts.
Oils from sunflowers and flax serve as energy sources, prepared in such a way that the quality of the valuable fatty acids is guaranteed for an exceptionally long time. The fine particles ensure better digestibility compared to oil seeds and traditional vegetable oils. The premium protein suppliers, such as sunflower seeds, Myo Alpin®-fibers, AGROBS® Bierhefe Pur brewer’s yeast, linseed meal, and pressed black cumin cakes ensure the formation and maintenance of powerful muscles. No soy is used.
The natural muesli is not vitamin or mineral fortified and is free from artificial additives. It contains no buffering substances that affect the natural pH value of the stomach and may even lead to additional unwanted acid formation in the long term. The lack of buffers also contributes to stomach health, while the high crude fiber content increases chewing activity. The saliva produced as a result naturally buffers stomach acid.
