Organic flaxseed, rich in omega fatty acids and structural fibers from the whole seed kernel.
Organic flaxseed is a natural source of vegetable fats, protein and fiber. It is a popular addition to animals’ rations, especially during periods of increased nutritional need such as molting, gestation or recovery.
Flaxseed supports a balanced diet. Thanks to its versatility, it can be fed both cooked and uncooked.
Do you see black discoloration on your animal’s tongue? This may indicate the ingestion of sand, in which case a linseed slurry can support natural drainage. You can read more about it below.
Use
Cook: Mix 200-500 grams of flaxseed with an equal amount of water. Allow to boil for 2-3 minutes and then cool. Always prepare flaxseed porridge fresh and feed within one day to prevent spoilage and oxidation.
Uncooked: Mix with regular feed or make a power mix by mixing loose seeds and kernels.
To alternate and support a balanced ration: 2 weeks feeding, 2 weeks break.
For animals with increased requirements (such as sport horses or pregnant animals), dosage may be increased.
Store in a dry, cool place, out of direct sunlight.
