CoolStance Copra is a premium coconut meal made from the white part of the coconut, which is dried, baked, and ground into a very palatable, high-quality feed. It is completely natural, free from chemicals and GMOs, and provides the horse with cool, easily manageable energy without causing overheating.
CoolStance Copra is good for horses because it is a natural source of fats and fibers, which helps provide stable energy without blood sugar spikes. The product contains low amounts of sugars and starch, which is important for horses sensitive to metabolic problems. Moreover, it supports digestion and promotes healthy skin and coat. Although horses do not naturally eat coconuts, Copra offers a balanced nutrition that meets their needs.

We recommend mixing CoolStance Copra with one part CoolStance and three parts water. The recommended weights in the table below are dry weights, before mixing with water.
Using cold water? Let it stand for 5 minutes before feeding. Using warm/hot water? It can be fed immediately once cooled to a suitable temperature. Mix well before feeding.
As CoolStance Copra is not a balanced feed, we recommend adding a high-quality vitamin and mineral supplement or balancer.
Feed your horse small amounts regularly and always ensure access to clean, fresh water.
In the summer months, we recommend not leaving the feed for more than 12 hours after mixing with water, and 24 hours in the winter months.
The feeding guidelines are for an average horse of 500 kg.

Retired/at rest:
The horse weighs 500 kg and is retired. We recommend feeding about 500g of Copra per day, divided into two feedings.
Light work:
The horse weighs 500 kg and is ridden no more than 4 times a week for up to 1 hour, mainly at a walk. We recommend feeding 500g - 1kg of Copra, divided into two feedings.
Medium work:
The horse weighs 500 kg and is schooled up to 6 times a week for up to an hour, including jumping. We recommend feeding 1kg - 2kg of Copra, divided into two feedings.
Hard work:
The horse weighs 500 kg and is likely a racehorse in training or a competition horse that is used 7 days a week for high-intensity work, including galloping with longer intervals, high-level schooling, regular cross-country sessions and endurance rides, etc. We recommend feeding 2-3 kg of Copra, divided into two feedings.
