For which dogs is Active HE also suitable?

Active High Energy contains a healthy percentage of fat. Fat slows down gastric emptying and therefore digestion, which can be useful for some intestinal diseases. Fat is generally easy to digest, which means that dogs with EPI (pancreatic insufficiency), IBD (chronic intestinal inflammation), and gastritis (stomach inflammation) often experience less vomiting or diarrhea with a high-fat diet.

Active HE kibble may also be suitable for young dogs of medium to large breeds that are at least 3 months old, if normal puppy kibble becomes too small. Please note that you should not feed too much, as the calcium content is higher than in normal puppy food. Some breeds are very sensitive to higher calcium levels.

Tip: Combining wet and dry food provides variety and a balanced diet. This can be done by mixing them together, but they can also be given separately. For example, kibble in the morning and wet food in the evening.
