The Flo Féa story
Flo Féa is the name of a young horse that is growing up according to Katrien’s insights.
For more than 10 years, Katrien has been caring for horses that have not had a good life and need extra care. She does this on her farm in Belgium.
Her passion for horses and spending time with them has been with her since childhood.
Caring for weak horses has taught her many lessons and provided her with knowledge and experience. Not only has she learned about all kinds of medical conditions, but above all, she has learned what these horses needed and still need to regain their vitality and strength.

After a sad farewell to a beloved horse in November 2021, Katrien sought comfort and a ray of hope. This led to the idea of applying all her knowledge and experience to a new life: strong and healthy from the start, growing up in the conditions that Katrien now considers “right”.
A few months later, the foal Flo Féa was born, and many months later she came to Katrien’s farm. She spent her first year there with two other mares, and that herd has of course been expanded with other care horses.
Flo Féa is now three years old and in excellent health.
Katrien, founder and curator of FLO FÉA:
“The health of my own horses is of the utmost importance to me, and I would like to share this commitment with other horse lovers. It all starts with the right horse feed. However, finding natural and healthy food for my horse proved to be no easy task. That search inspired me to make a difference myself.”
FLO FÉA was born from this idea.
