BF® OMEGA+ Liquid Probiotics contains EU-registered Bacillus velezensis DSM 15544 gut-friendly bacteria, which balance your dog’s intestinal flora. These probiotics support digestion, strengthen the immune system and improve stool quality. They reduce harmful bacteria such as Streptococcus and Salmonella, reduce ammonia in the stool and help your dog cope better with stress, such as when changing food. This makes your dog feel good, inside and out.
Both deworming agents (ask your vet) and/or Giardia itself can damage the intestinal wall and disrupt the intestinal flora. For this reason, animals that have ever had Giardia in their lives often remain sensitive to the gastrointestinal tract for life. Our BF® OMEGA+ Probiotics products, available in liquid, tablet or bonbon form, can provide the necessary support.
The natural base of salmon oil, sheep fat and sunflower oil, which contains healthy omega 3, 6 and 9, is a liquid flavouring that ensures easy acceptance and better digestion. Together with gut-friendly bacteria, this provides an ideal mix to support your dog’s intestines, immunity, stool and overall health.
Tip: Probiotics can help dogs with food allergies, as they strengthen the immune system and balance the intestinal flora, increasing resistance to allergens. This can reduce allergic symptoms (reactions). However, it may take some time before the effect is noticeable (3-8 weeks), and not every probiotic works for every dog.
Please note: Certain criteria assessing safety and efficacy must be met before a probiotic receives approval from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). Currently, only a few probiotics have been approved by the European Union Register of Feed Additives (EFSA) as intestinal flora stabilisers for pets, including our Bacillus velezensis DSM 15.

Start with: 5 ml (= 1 teaspoon) per day for 1 week, then 10 ml (= 2 teaspoons) per 5-10 kg body weight or 15 ml (= 3 teaspoons) per 20 kg body weight per day. Shelf life: see packaging. Store in a cool, dry place. Close tightly after use. Shake before use. Supplementary feed for dogs.
TIP: You can give your dog this probiotic supplement every day. For a course of treatment, it is advisable to give your dog the product for at least 6 weeks. Use our probiotic products, liquid, tablet or bonbon, after a course of antibiotics to provide extra support for intestinal recovery. Please do not give antibiotics and probiotics at the same time, but at least 5 hours apart.
Please note: Research shows that dogs that receive probiotics, and no other supplements, are less overweight. In addition, it appears that the current probiotic bacterial strains currently registered with the EFSA for specific use as intestinal flora stabilisers in dogs and cats are quite limited. This is due to the reduced availability of veterinary research. Therefore, choose a good probiotic product that is officially registered with EFSA in the EU.
