Since time immemorial, black cumin has been the remedy for the mucous membranes, especially the bronchi, intestines and genital tract. It is recommended that the seed is freshly crushed and fed. Since the active ingredients are bound to the oil, press cakes or extracted meal (high temperatures) are not at all comparable to freshly crushed grains.
