Natuly’s alfalfa pellets consist of finely ground leaves and stems from the entire plant, with no added ingredients. They are an ideal supplement to grain-based diets and can be used to replace part of the roughage or soaked to create a tasty slurry.
Alfalfa belongs to the legume family and is often called “the queen of forage plants.” This plant is capable of fixing nitrogen from the air, providing a rich source of protein and essential nutrients. It also contains high levels of cellulose fiber, vitamins such as beta-carotene, vitamin E, and various B vitamins, as well as trace minerals.
