Waldhausen Health + Care balance pads
Waldhausen balance pads support deep muscle training and support the horse’s coordination. The horse learns to maintain balance and body tension in a controlled manner on a soft, supple pad. Balance pads can also improve the horse’s body awareness. Young horses that are just learning to coordinate their bodies in a balanced way under the rider benefit from stimulating the sense of balance. However, the increase in balance, coordination and muscles benefits every horse – regardless of age and training level. We recommend a slow progression. Balance training with pads is recommended not to be done more than 1-2 times a week, as it is very strenuous for the horse. The use of balance pads should be discussed in advance with a veterinarian/chiropractor if the horse has been injured or has physical problems. Sold as a pair.
