Description

“Herbs” is a balanced blend of herbs and grasses. The mixture contains more than 60 different types of herbs and grasses from the Bavarian Alpine foothills.

These grasses and herbs were dried with warm air and pressed into extra-large chunks. This pure, natural and fibre-rich roughage ensures that the horse receives sufficient essential nutrients. Due to the particularly quality-preserving method of drying, the grass and herb chunks Herbs have a higher content of nutrients, minerals and vitamins than other feeds.

Feeding Guide

Pour 1 part feed with 1.5 to 3 parts water and leave to soak for 15 minutes before feeding. This prevents the risk of oesophageal obstruction in horses that do not chew their feed sufficiently, in horses with poor teeth and in horses that eat their feed too quickly, resulting in insufficient saliva production. When the feed is moistened, the stems and leaves reabsorb water, which also increases the palatability of the feed.
Always provide sufficient clean drinking water at the feeding place.

To replace the basic roughage ration: approx. 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight daily
As a high-quality supplement to the basic roughage ration: the amount must be adjusted to the amount of the basic ration: 1 kg of Herbs replaces 1 kg of hay
As a replacement for concentrated feed: 1.2 kg of EquiFyt Herbs replaces approx. 1 kg of grain.

Preparation: Soak 1 kg of Herbs in 1.5 to 3 litres of water.

The amount of feed should be adjusted to the age and daily energy requirements of your horse or pony.

Herbs does not contain any added vitamins or minerals.
