Kittens younger than 4 months: From 4 or 5 weeks of age, a kitten can be fed dry food. First, this dry food can be soaked in a little warm water or kitten milk. The amount of moisture is then gradually reduced until your kitten is eating only dry food.

Kittens older than four months: From the moment the kitten has its permanent teeth until it is about one year old, your cat's nutritional needs will remain roughly the same. Only the daily amounts will increase until it is fully grown.

In general, you can wait 12 months before switching to adult food. However, for some cats this can be sooner, depending on the cat, breed, activity level, etc. For kittens that have already been spayed or neutered, it may sometimes be wise to switch sooner due to weight issues, as feeding slightly less does not help. The natural BF^® Petfood food for kittens is also ideal for pregnant or nursing queens. This food can therefore also be given to pregnant queens (from day 42 onwards).
